How should you approach them? This two hour workshop introduces common mental health problems and how they may show up at work. Perfect for those seeking to learn basic techniques to enable supportive conversations at work, whether with co-workers or the general public.

- Discuss the mental health continuum
- Differentiate between mental health and mental illness
- Discuss how actions can help reduce stigma
- Identify immediate help-seeking pathways for self and others and use the “Ask, Listen, Connect and Care” model.
Meet your facilitator
Kathy’s own experience as a trained theatre performer, combined with her current insight as an MEAA equity delegate, makes her a highly empathetic, insightful facilitator. She has studied Mental Health at Swinburne University and is also passionate about increasing awareness of neurodiversity and hidden disabilities.
